Ensure there is an adequate amount of work to perform and an appropriate number of trained personnel on hand to do it • Ensure that when tasks are assigned they are completed and done correctly in a timely and efficient manner • Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment for all staff • Report any and all equipment damage, malfunction or safety hazards and ensure that all equipment is kept in a safe operating manner • Ensure employees are following facility security rules and regulations on a daily basis • Meet customer’s packaging requirements • Ensure production schedule is maintained, keep the production calendar updated • Submit all daily paperwork to Site Manager • Ensure quality records are taken, log and retain samples for quality • Manage the delivery, warehousing, loading and unloading of trucks for all products; matching BOL to physical shipment; stage product for shipments • Ensure physical inventory is accurate, performing random audits on inventory • Ensure that AWSA Protocols are met; ensure safety standards are met throughout the warehouse/yard Qualifications: • Ability to work with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel • Knowledge of First Aid and CPR • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance • Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods and the tools required in various assembly processes • Good communication skills to be able to communication effectively with internal and external customers • Critical eye for identifying defects, detail oriented, dependable, and reliable • 3 - 6 years of operations supervisory experience ideally in a fast paced industrial/commercial environment • Proven supervisory experience with the ability to effectively work with a wide range of people and personalities • Excellent organization skills with the ability to effectively manage changing priorities • Able to lift at least 50 lbs • Overtime as required, “on call” evening and weekends when required.
